End of a Chapter

Well, that's it folks. Another chapter has ended. Secondary school life was certainly something worth going through. Grad Nite was fun. Took pictures with teachers and friends. Mr Hon came. Too bad Mr Wong and Ms Lim didn't. Ate dinner, had some performances. Stupid Haziq came late. Oh Naz came late too. Supposed to practice for their item. End up, it screwed up. Haziq and Naz both screwed up. Haha, good job anyway! After the whole thing, we just stayed back to talk for maybe one last time. Took more pictures. Went home with Cheng Hao, Auggie, Pei Xuan and Siang Lin. Everyone looked so.. one word, "WOW!" Everyone was calling Siang Lin "Mei Nu" (Did I spell it correctly?) I persuaded the taxi driver to let me squeeze into the cab. Not supposed to have 5 passengers in a cab right? We alighted at the Yuan Ching bus stop for Auggie. Then the four of us left walked home. Had to send the girls back first, its our responsibility. Then when I reached home it was.. 12 plus. First time I used my keys, everyone was sleeping already. Then this morning I had to wake up for PAE. Damn tired, didn't sleep much last night. All added up, probably about 1 hour or so. Maybe cos I was thinking about the past 4 years. Or maybe it was the cola.

I want to thank a few people,
Teachers first.

Mr Wong - My SC teacher. Snoopy!! Treated us to a few meals during my term. Great teacher. Dedicated and never gave up on us even though we kept snubbing him. All the best, Mr Wong!
Miss Lim - Thank you for taking care of us for 4 years since we were Sec 1. You were always there for us. You are one of the reasons why our stay in Yuan Ching is an unforgettable one. All the best, Ms Lim!
Mr Foo - Alright the Joker!! We're not ingrates, okay? I was always immune to your old trick, until this year. Argh! Well, thanks for being our PE teacher in Sec 1 and 2, you made PE lessons fun! And you made PE lessons almost bearable. All the best, 'cher!
Mr Liew - The cold water man. Thanks for giving us advice during our ExCo meetings, including all the negative comments, thanks for that too! Also the most shameless teacher I know. Hah! Hats off to you.
Miss Loh - Ah, my form teacher for Sec 3 and 4. Oh and Chinese teacher for Sec 1! Luohanyu!! Thanks for taking care of us through this 2 years. And thanks for confiscating the cards, it was getting on my nerves. You're a great teacher! And thanks for letting me organise the Teachers' Day Class Party! All the best, Miss Loh! I salute you.
Mr Gomez - Alright VP! You can actually tell the difference between Mr Gomez and Chia. No one respects Chia. Thank you for everything, Mr Gomez!

Can't think of any other teachers at this moment, will add when I think of the others. Of course, I thank every teacher in Yuan Ching. They are the ones which made Yuan Ching a better place. Gangster school, so what, we can interest you with our cheerful and caring teachers! Someone predicted that if all the good teachers leave Yuan Ching, the school will go down. The only ting holding the school up now is the great teachers. To you teachers, you all became our friends in the course of 4 years!

Now on to friends.
1E1'04/2E1'05 - You guys simply rock! Words cannot express my emotions. What a great bunch of people. We had mixed cliques in the class, yet we all still managed to get along fine. As what Damien said, see how much we've grown and yet we still have the childishness in us. Its called fun-loving! One day, maybe we can organise a get-together. Keep in contact! All the best for your future endeavours! Hit life hard!
3E3'06/4E3'07 - You guys rock too! Although yes we have some thorns strewn about, majority wins. Guys, you have to stop playing cards. If you have to, play bridge, tai-di is based on luck. All the best, people!
StuCo ExCo'06 - You guys are the greatest! We could always cooperate with each other. Maybe cos most of us were from the same class, except Jin Tian. We are one fun(childish) bunch, we played with everything, huh? Oh wait, thats just me. Keep in contact! ExCo'06 rocks erm.. rocks my socks! [I can't believe I just said that]
Haziq - My Malay 'brother'. This is racial-harmony for you. Had much fun fighting! Although fake fighting. I'm gonna get better than you for 'O's!
Darren - Well, congratulations on your marriage! Hahahaha!! Okay okay. Had fun sitting next to you for like what 1 and a half years? Oh I do remember that this year, you were supposed to sit next to the window for the 2nd semester. He can do falsettos!! HAH! All the best, my man!
Nazrul - The crazy bugger! Has the ability to be utterly crazy and yet sane at the same time. How does he do it?! He does crazy stuff. He's the self-proclaimed "El Magnifico". He's the person climbing the stairs by the railings. Anyway, had a lot alot of fun with you around. Add Qayyum into the equation and you would not be able to stop laughing. Quite a good singer, but can't sing high parts. All the best, my friend!
Alex - Must mention this guy. Pot call the kettle black! Stupid guy. Can't control his mouth. Haha. He said, don't forget him. How to? Everytime you pass by Clementi, you'll remember him! Okay, my friend for what, 6 plus years? Same class with him in Pri 5 and 6, then Sec 3 and 4 also same class. Too bad the next school we may not be together. Hey I just realised that I'll be seeing him for both schools reunion. Friends forever, like what you said. And don't forget me too! All the best!

Cheng Hao - Hao! Didn't know we were from the same kindergarten. Remember in Sec 3 we always 'quarreled'? Sorry. You're a nice person. All the best!
Hong Yong - Naked Swimmer! Okay, first, sorry for every bad thing I've done to you. I admit I was mean to you and I always got irritated with you. But hey, we have to forgive and forget! No hard feelings! All the best!
Heidi - My best friend since Sec 1! Shrimp, Cat, Hei-Be, Hai-Di, countless nicknames. Why didn't come for Grad Nite? You was great having you as a friend. Thanks for messing up my hair sometimes, although it makes no difference. See you around soon!
Pang Yong - Self-proclaimed emokid. Yuck. Carrot, Chef, Opium, whatever. My good friend in Sec 2. Hehe, black water in Hokkien. Goodness.. Oh Buggy! Hahaha. All the best!
Siang Lin - Just want to say thanks for everything. Really everything. I thought about what you said about confessions and stuff. That got me thinking, and I remembered something. Not gonna say it out here, of course. Yeah, don't need to be so strict all the time, kay? This is only for the StuCo meetings. And yes, I promise I will ask you out whenever we have an outing. All the best! Hope to see you around sometime!
Pei Xuan - She gets a special mention cos of just one year. Sec 2. 2005. This really brings back memories. Albeit, painful ones. I sat next to her with Cazua. Right at the front. She was in the middle of Cazua and me. So everytime she turned to, let's say Cazua. Okay I should also mention that her hair was always tied in a ponytail and it was long. So when she turned to Cazua, her hair will swing and hit me in the face. Of course, I will say,"Ouch!". Damn cute, she will turn to me and say sorry, but at the same time when she turns to me, the hair swings to the other side and hit Cazua in the face. This will continue on for sometime before we either moved out head away or held her head still.
Hon Xuen - My good friend in Sec 2 was it? Change alot sia. From Sec 1 until now. Innocent change to "pai kia". Pervert. Haha. He has no shame, which is sometimes a good thing.
Marfie - Porno-Principal! Err.. Choco Ice! Marfie Schoolfield. Damn, we didn't manage to film School Break 2. Glad to know you since Sec 1. You and your jelly thing that you called *cough sperms *cough. Yes, had fun skipping IT Club. Although you didn't keep your promise. You said you were gonna quit IT Club, which you didn't. Haha, nevermind, got CCA points.

And thats all I can think of now too. Any other special memories, I will add it here.

So guys. We had a helluva run. Great times in Yuan Ching. These memories cannot be forgotten. All these memories are really unforgettable. I can't even write how I feel. You guys are the best. We had lots of fun. Stupid stuff done in school. Ahh..
One day we should all get together. Ex-2E1, you guys really rock! Like what Damien said, why is it when its time to depart when everyone starts to treasure each other.
That really sucks, I agree with him. It always happens. You don't treasure your friends, your school and your teachers, and then you realise its already too late and you have to leave them. Okay, I had to control my emotions when typing that last part. I'm already missing my secondary school life. You say its weird, why didn't I miss my friends like during weekends. Cos at the back of your mind, you know that you will meet them the next week. But this time... Sorry. You do not know when you'll be meeting them again. Okay, tell yourselves that we WILL meet each other again. Just keep in contact, update everyone with your new email or new number.
Back in Sec 1, I really hated Yuan Ching, it was my 5th choice! I hated the facilities, everything was so run-down. But slowly I grew to love the school, I'm glad I didn't have to move into the new building. Things have changed, from hating the school to loving the school. Reason? Great friends and great teachers.
SO I guess thats it. I can't really think straight now. We just have to move on and look ahead. All the best, my friends! Hit life hard, and live it to the fullest! I hope to hear good news whenever we meet up!

By far, this is the most difficult post I've ever made. Had to stop a few times to control my emotions.
And those still in Yuan Ching, treasure your secondary school life, and WE'LL BE BACK.
Yes, to the three dudes, Haziq, Steven and Damien. JJC! And register together on Tuesday! Get online and conference call? Go Orientation for a while then we pon and come back to YCSS. Set ah?

Its great to have some friends to go on with you. Makes life a lot easier. But still we gotta make new friends. You know Sec 4 SS, Good Governance? Principle of Forward-Looking? Yeah we gotta keep looking forward! Look ahead in life! Shit, I still remembered what I studied?

And I wanna stay goodbye to the old building. My 2nd home for 4 years. Gonna miss it. All our memories there. Good standing for 20 plus years, enduring all the vandalism..
